Ah Yes...Writer's Block

It has been a very eventful week! I want to thank everyone who guest posted and came to play in the sandbox. Alan from TBAOO, Alejandro from Raising Amelie, Paul Field from One Eye on the Rear View Mirror, Charles Sadler from Rantings of a Bald Man, Megan from Sugary Cynicism, Sarah Jane Klemis from Almost There, and Jewell from Really? Wait? What? You folks all did a great job and I also want to thank everyone who visited and supported the writers.

There is madness to my method. With the whole day job thingy and other matters that need my attention, the blog could easily have been neglected and that would break my heart. I have always promoted other writers and believe is an endless opportunity to write and publish. Literature is very important to me, and so are all of you. In my absence some very fine and talented people posted here and garnered traffic that I hope dearly has built their personal following.

I leave you all with an animation I created [sort of] dealing with writer’s block. If you haven’t been following this week, here are some links to put some of the context of the video in perspective for you.

Dear Diary, Me, My Id and Ego go Grocery Shopping, How Was Your Week?

Enjoy!

I'm just saying.

That video was as funny as anything Ron. I laughed my head off. Particularly at the Farmville bit where imaginery people were picking imaginery eggs to eat for imaginery breakfast!! You nailed the daftness of Facebook.

You are truly talented me dear! Just off to read your guest blogs (I'm a bit behind this week)

What a clever video. You nailed it all, Ron. Now I'm off to read my spam because I, too, seem to be creatively constipated. :)

Oh, you British bastard, you.

Awww....Crap....don't you have another creepy basement, in another creepy abandoned building that teenagers make out in and cheerleaders get hacked to death to put this guy!? He's driving me CRAZY!

Hey! Quit smiling at me! Don't make me thump you in the nose with a rolled up newspaper! QUIT! =-p

Kriti - I love all the writers as well, and glad you enjoyed the animation

Lisa - Glad you likes it :)...you know the real story :)

Romina - Thank you...and thank you ;)

Priya - To answer your question...yes...I can't Yodle ;)

Anne - Thanks for stopping by. I know you have been busy with the whole job thingy, and it is good to see you here. Yes, some of the apps on FaceBook...are useless :)

Sarah - Thank you for your great post! Jewell has lessons to be learned before she is let out of the basement for good ;)

Megan - No, your ID is not as weird as mine. I am a fan of yours...not a good example to follow ;)

Jessica - Glad you enjoyed it :)

Jayne - Is it odd that with writer's block I turn to cartoons to tell a story...am I selling out ;)

Simon - I chose a British voice hoping it would make me sound smarter than I really am ;)

Jewell, Jewell, Jewell...Your post was nothing short of brilliant! I had to include you in the animation. But let's think about this...you trap yourself in a basement to write a post based on self imposed pressure and you don't want to share space with my ego? I could beangry over that...but I don't hang with my ego that much either :)

writers block A demon all snowy white, what a plight, what will you be tonight, a song, a poem, a letter I might write. A word, why do they fight, of many things the words take flight. What gives them life on this winter’s night? What story must I write? Will it be bold and bright, can it be told alright, who will read on some distant night, will they find delight, on some summer‘s night, of this I will like, come on now stop the fight we have a poem to write, its snowy white, this plane of white, a demon alright, you won’t win this fight, because the words have rousted your void of white. Ha! Ha! We won alright it a poem not a plight. and a very big round of aplaus for all your guest and a standing ovation for the anna waite make that rolling on the floor ovation for the annamation ron is that you.

Mary - It was a nice week with so many talented people stoppping bby

Savira - She will be popping in from time to time to help out. The silly text-to-speech program didn't recognize "Id", so I guess Ed will have to do.

Alan - Thank you...I think.

Alejandro - Yep, the TTS stuff can be a pain though. Have a nice piece of Guda.

Sulekka - I thought writing the cartoon would help...but not so much. Glad you stopped by :)
